Artist's Description

Travels with Craig represent work that deals with an exploratory or spiritual investigation that deals with the course of his travels. The following group of images are from the author, Ernest Hemingway’s house in Cuba. Ernest Hemingway lived in Cuba off and on mostly as a winter home from the states beginning in 1939. It was called “Finca Vigia”. He worked on many of his well-known books here (For Whom the Bell Tolls, The Garden of Eden and Islands in the Stream). He left Cuba in 1960.

About Craig J Satterlee

Craig J Satterlee

Craig J. Satterlee has been a fine art and commercial photographer for over 56 years. He has also been a photography instructor at Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming for 36 years. His interest in photography started at the age of 14, when he took a photography class at school and instantly fell in love with the whole photographic process. Craig has been published in publications such as The Sun, Northern Lights, Cowboy and Indians, Photo Life, American Photo, Wyoming Elements, COLOR and won the Wyoming Visual Artists Fellowship. His work has been exhibited in over 800 photo shows all over the world.
